In a recent announcement by FUNimation, North America will receive firsthand the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F." The anime is fresh out of its theatrical debut with various record-breaking stance, such as surpassing "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" and "Ant-Man."

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, U.S. and Canada will be able to pre-order the set starting Oct. 20, 2015. The merchandise's SKU will come in three different codes and fans can get these by logging in at dragonballz.com.

In a statement made by Gen Fukunaga of FUNimation, the early release of the "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" DVD and Blu-Ray has been brought by the massive success of its theatrical debut. They also expressed their eagerness to let the fans enjoy the anime movie while it is still trending.

Also, the Collector's Edition of the anime movie is also available, which includes the 95-minute film, a bunch of bonus materials and some behind-the-scene footages during the making of the movie. The Collector's Edition also features an exclusive packaging with limited edition postcards that feature the Frieza Force.

The Blu-Ray version will consist of the anime film itself and the 50-minute bonus material that is also present in the Collector's Edition. However, the DVD will only feature the anime film without any bonus track included.

According to Super Hero Hype, the 50-minute bonus material features the voices on "Dragon Ball Z" and "The Return of The Dragon Ball Z."

Michael DuBoise of FUNimation said that while they expected the 'Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F' to succeed in its opening debut, they never actually expected it to surpass their expectations specially  revenue wise according to Super Hero Hype.

The 'Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F' is currently the eighth in the highest opening of an anime film. During its first day, it also exceeded it competing films and landed the top grossing film of the day. Its theatrical run made its debut in over 894 theaters all over the United States and earned at least $1.97 million during its first opening day. DuBoise also thanked their marketing strategies that significantly helped in the success of the anime film in theaters. Some the features that were included in the film includes the return of its old members such as Goku, Frieza, Gohan, Master Roshi and several more.
