It is a scenario fans haven't seen play out since the Harrison Ford film "Air Force One" back in 1997. But in the premiere episode of "Madam Secretary" season two this fall, Air Force One will go missing, according to Entertainment Weekly.

As if last season of the show did not have enough crises for Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) to handle, which included the Russian submarine crisis and her husband in Moscow, now the Secretary of State must navigate the international turmoil that is sure to take place once the American president's plane goes missing.

Morgan Freeman is slated to make an appearance of the first episode, and although his character's involvement has been kept under wraps at this time, fans do know that he will be a Supreme Court Justice in the Season 2 opener.

Freeman is more than just a newcomer to the series though, just new on the screen. He has served as executive producer for the series since its inception, and he has also served as a director on the hit CBS drama. This will mark the Oscar winner's first appearance for the show onscreen.

Another big name appearing on the show next season is the original Madam Secretary herself, Madeleine Albright. She will be playing a fictional version of herself and, in some way, a mentor to McCord, who has treacherous waters to navigate in the domestic, international and political arena of a man's world.

Leoni has stated publicly that her real life inspiration for the role was her father, dispelling rumors it was either Albright or presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

The supersized second season of "Madam Secretary" will debut on CBS this fall on Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. EDT. The show was enormous hit with fans during its freshman run and was considered their biggest show on Sunday nights.
