Fans of Nathan Drake and the Uncharted series will be delighted to know that PlayStation has finally announced the release date for the upcoming "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" along with its pre-order deals.

Many were disappointed when it was announced earlier this year that the final chapter of the Nathan Drake series for "Uncharted" will be delayed for a 2016 launch date.

According to the Naughty Dog's creative director Neil Druckmann, the decision to push back the date is to ensure that fans get the best quality of gameplay they deserve.

"This game deserves every bit of attention to detail, precise pacing and nuanced storytelling that Naughty Dog is known for so we've made the difficult choice of pushing the game's release date," he told The Verge in March.

At that time, no exact date was announced. However, PlayStation blog announced that the final story of Nathan Drake will finally hit shelves on March 18, 2016.

The game, which is exclusive to PS4 during launch date, is said to offer better graphics, visuals and gameplay.

With the announcement of the release date, Sony also unveiled the special editions of the title for pre-order.

The "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Special Edition" will include an inside peek into how the developers created the title. Accompanying the Blu-Ray Disc is a collectible steel book case by Alexander "That Kids Who Draws" Iaccarino.

Aside from that, a special edition Naughty Dog and Pirate Sigil sticker sheet, the in-pack game currency called Naughty Dog Points and a 48-page hardcover art book made by Naughty Dog and Dark Horse will be included.

All these can be pre-ordered at $79.99. Sony will also offer a Libertalia Collector's Edition at $119.99.

This pack comes with all of the items included in the Special Edition, but with the addition of a 12-inch Nathan Drake statue by Gentle Giant as well as two custom weapon skins: the Desert Weapon and Golden Weapon skins.

There is also the addition of the Madagascar Sidekick outfit, a Henry Avery Sigil ball cap and three multiplayer outfits including Heist Drake, Desert Drake and Drake's Fortune outerwear.

Digital copies of the game are also available with the Deluxe Edition for $79.99. This includes early access to the single-player story DLC for the series and two multiplayer packs. The Deluxe Edition will also unlock two multiplayer customization features.

For those who pre-ordered the title already, you can buy the Triple Pack or upgrade your initial order to a Deluxe Edition for just $20.

However, there's more, Sony has announced that for those who pre-order any of the packs, additional bonus content will be given.
