Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are rumored to be going "hot and heavy" in the romance department following their recent public breakups and divorce filings.

"The Voice" show judges are reported to have "found comfort in one another" while working on the set of the show and their off-screen chemistry is now described as "off the charts," according to HollywoodLife.

Thirty-nine-year-old Shelton recently split from country music star wife Miranda Lambert, while not much long after that Stefani and Gavin Rossdale called it quits after 13 years. Since then, the two are rumored to have been using their respective hardships to forge a tightly-woven connection.

"They're trying to keep it on the down-low, but it's not happening -- partly because they're all over each other," said a source. "The chemistry between them is off the charts. Everyone on set sees that Blake and Gwen are falling for one another."

So much so, that the two now regularly indulge in "intimate lunches" and hang out in one another's dressing room between takes.

"When they're not together, Blake has been calling her, too," a source added. "He's even given her small gifts. He sees Gwen as the ultimate woman, and she has been reveling in the attention."

Reports state the two's friendship has also grown immensely through their respective breakups and their getting over their heartache together.

"Gwen and Blake are getting through this by making each other laugh," said a source. "Their friendship has blossomed through both their marital issues that they're dealing with. They have confided in each other in a way they really can't with others because they both know how it feels being a celeb and going through stuff like this. They are a great support system for each other."

Stefani and Shelton will join Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams as judges for Season 9 of the hit NBC show.
