Zayn Malik recently stirred speculations he is dating Gage Golightly after appearing in a shirtless selfie with the actress' lookalike. However, Golightly has since denied that she is the woman in Malik's photo.

In the Instagram shot, Malik is topless as he cuddles with a mystery blonde woman. The pair looked comfortable with each other as they pose cheek-to-cheek, puckering their lips for the camera. Although the woman is not captioned in the photo, readers initially thought she looked like Gage Golightly, known for playing Erica Reyes on "Teen Wolf."

However, the actress has squashed the dating speculations before the rumor mill really got going. Golightly took to her Instagram page to deny her connection to Zayn's photo.

"Hi everyone, just wanted to clarify that I am not the girl in the photo with Zayn Malik. But what a lucky girl! Love y'all," she wrote along with a trio of kiss emojis.

The mystery blonde woman reportedly also bears a resemblance to Malik's ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards. A source told Hollywood Life that the "Little Mix" singer thinks Zayn is being "heartless" for moving on from their split with her lookalike.

"The photo just confirms everything she already thinks about Zayn. 'Heartless' is the first word that came to Perrie's mind when she saw it. She thinks Zayn has stooped to an all new low by making such a public to do about this girl," the source said.

According to the source, Perrie is not even hurt over the photo. Instead she is "disgusted" and thinks of it as Zayn's way to seek attention, as his "desperate, heartless ploy."

"She wants to tell the girl, 'You can have him!' Perrie isn't wasting any more tears on this guy. Plus, she thinks he's just trying to make her jealous because he knows she has moved on," the source further told Hollywood Life.

Zayn's photo came after he shared a cryptic message on Twitter about not coming home to his birth home in the U.K. According to Mirror UK, the former "One Direction" singer is currently in L.A. concentrating on his solo music.

Malik’s Twitter post reportedly also came after Perrie shared an Instagram photo of her cozying up to backup dancer Rycardo Gomez. The photo was allegedly taken after Little Mix's performance at the Apple Music Festival in London on Sept. 22.

In the shot, Edwards is seen with her arm on Rycardo's shoulder as she gives the camera a seductive look. She tagged Gomez in the photo along with the caption, "Reunited with this one last night! My love for this boy is outrages! I adore my Riri!"
