The Rock is reportedly one of four rumored opponents for Brock Lesnar at next year's WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas, per a previous Latin Post report. However, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio via Wrestling Inc. the current plans for him is to face Triple H.

WWE first teased the match in a backstage segment on the Oct. 10 episode of "SmackDown" last 2014. It depicted the former rivals as wanting to have one more match, either at WrestleMania 31 or 32. You can view the video of the segment below.

The match did not happen at this year's WrestleMania, but the two had a confrontation of sorts that also involved Triple H's wife Stephanie McMahon and UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronday Rousey. It created a major buzz for the WWE as well as one of the most surprising moments of the year, and, possibly, in the history of the event.

The supposed confrontation between the four would lead to a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas that would help sold out the AT&T Stadium that can accommodate 100,000 spectators. But it looks like it's not going to happen as Ronda confirmed during a fan Q&A in Australia for UFC 193 that she would be filming "Mile 22" with Mark Wahlberg and Iko Uwais in Jakarta, Indonesia in March 2016, per MMA Mania.

"I would love to, but I'm going to be in Jakarta filming my movie. If I was really going to be there, would you want to know, or would you want to be surprised? I think a real wrestling fan would want to be surprised," Rousey said via FOX Sports.

There is still a possibility of her flying out of Indonesia just to appear at WrestleMania 32 to be in The Rock's corner as this year's appearance is not expected at all. What Culture reports that The Rock versus Triple H matchup is currently the planned main event for WrestleMania, but it has met some negative reactions backstage.

The report said that it is Triple H's ego that made himself the main event of WrestleMania, taking the match against such a huge star. As for The Rock, it is believed that he's only in it for the money as next year's wrestling spectacle will break wrestling records in terms of attendance and revenue.

These wrestlers are two of the biggest stars in WWE history and a match between them will surely lure old Attitude Era fans into ordering WWE Network. In terms of trying to make the most money, this match sure makes sense for the WWE.
