A sneak peek of the season two premiere of "iZombie" for the episode titled "Grumpy Old Liv" has been released.

TV Line featured the clip showing how The CW Network series' lead, zombie Liv Moore's (Rose McIver) character is influenced by the current brain she ate.

In the video, Liv, the medical resident-turned-zombie, who is using her current state to help solve murder cases, has lashed the "grumpy" side of the elderly victim who is the subject of her and Detective Clive Babineaux' (Malcolm Goodwin) investigation. The poor Byron Thistlewaite (Adam Rose of "Veronica Mars") received Liv's sort of prickly temperament.

Other funny scenes for the Oct. 6 episode may also be seen from the trailer of the show for its second season, posted by the "iZombie's" official Twitter account.

Comic Book noted the synopsis for this season's first episode:

"Liv consumes the brains of a cantankerous old man to help gain insight into his death. After receiving an anonymous call on the tipster hotline, Liv and Detective Babineaux stop by the residence of Byron Thistlewaite (guest star Adam Rose), to question the mysterious caller. Meanwhile, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) suspects that Major (Robert Buckley) might be experiencing a side effect of the cure, and Liv pays Blaine (David Anders) a surprise visit. Michael Fields directed the episode written by Rob Thomas (#201)."

A Major trouble

From the synopsis, it seems like it is not just Liv who has something going on inside her. Major, who is Liv's ex-fiancé, may also be having some issues regarding the cure that was injected to him by Liv to turn him back into a human, during last season's finale.

Will these side effects create further tension again between the former lovers, especially after Major just found about Liv's situation when the same villainous zombie, who scratched and transformed Liv into one, Blaine, stabbed him and almost killed him? To make matters worse, Liv turned him into a zombie to save his life, to his horror and indignation, as these bad zombies were the reason that the boys he is helping in the shelter he worked for were killed.

Although Major became human again, the first episode this season will show Major avoiding Liv, Executive Producer Rob Thomas told TV Line in a separate article. Thomas stated that Liv is "trying to reach out" to Major because Clive is also investigating deeper into the "Meat Cute case," which Major is involved.

Hopefully, Major stops ducking Liv for his own good, too.
