"American Horror Story: Hotel" had such an impressive first episode that fans have taken to social media and praised the episode, which also includes show creator Ryan Murphy.

Murphy took to Twitter and praised Gaga to the extent that he formally announced that he has asked her to join the troupe for Season 6 of the massively popular horror show on FX.

"Lady Gaga is so brilliant in AHS Season 5 that yesterday I officially asked her to join Season 6. Say yes ‪@ladygaga!" Murphy wrote in the tweet.

Although there has been no word yet if she has agreed to come back for Season 6, Gaga has made rounds on the late night talk shows and when she went on "The Tonight Show," she told host Jimmy Fallon that she had a long history of studying acting before she became a singer. She also disclosed the horror and creepy side of TV and film is what she is particularly attracted to.

Given that she had previously joined the show after first approaching Murphy about the venture, it is now Murphy who is taking the first action and asking her to join them for season 6.

According to Deadline, Gaga debuted on the series as the Countess Elizabeth and is currently enjoying top-billing for the season.

She is joined this season by mostly returning actors to the show, which includes Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Chloë Sevigny, Dennis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Evan Peters and Finn Wittrock.

Recent reports for the show following its premiere this week has indicated that the season is going to be a bloodier and more sex-filled theme this year with the addition of the pop-singer.

Although previous seasons of the anthology series have featured loads blood and sex themes, this season is expected to bring those scenes to all new heights.
