The Vivo Xplay 5S has been leaked several times on the internet, and, this time, it's getting another fix that may interest some consumers.

According to Phone Arena, the device still has the six-inch display with a 2160 x 3840 4K resolution. Past rumors tagged the device to have 3GB of RAM, but recent reports said that it would feature 4GB of RAM.

The device also sports 64GB internal memory. It comes with a 21-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel secondary shooter.

Additional specs for the Vivo Xplay 5S were also featured in a report from Android Headlines. According to the article, the alleged Vivo Xplay 5S will also be powered by a 4,000 mAH battery and will come out of the box with Android's latest Marshmallow 6.0 OS.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor. Rumors about the supposed Vivo Xplay 5S started a year ago and has since made news online with different specs coming out. This is why the latest news of the device should still be taken with a grain of salt as they are still unconfirmed until an official announcement is released.

November last year, Phone Arena made news about the Vivo Xplay 5S with slightly different specs as that of today.

Even though the said device still has a six-inch display, it was reported to have a lower resolution of 1440 x 2560. It was also rumored to contain the Snapdragon 805 processor, which the reports now say will be the Snapdragon 820 processor.  It's been almost a year after the first rumored specs of the Vivo Xplay 5S surfaced online, and few changes on its alleged specifications have been tweaked.

Almost a year ago, TechiePocket gave their description of the Vivo Xplay 5S. It was originally introduced to carry Android's 4.4 KitKat update with a 2.7 Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor. The device was also said to have a 32GB internal storage and connectivity via WiFi 802.11 and 4.0V Bluetooth.

The cameras also had lower megapixels: a 13-megapixel primary camera and 1.3-megapixel secondary camera.

The battery then was also sub par compared to what is rumored now. Back then, one of the advantages of the Vivo Xplay 5S were the cost, the giant screen and the supposed impressive 13-megapixel front shooter. The downsides mentioned were the small memory, battery as well as the 1.3-megapixel secondary camera.
