Neymar had one of his finest games in a Barcelona uniform to date. The young Brazilian forward scored an amazing four goals on Saturday in a thrashing victory over Rayo Vallecano.

Barcelona is now 6-0-2 with 18 points. That's tied with Real Madrid for first place at the moment. with his four goals against Rayo, Neymar now has a team-leading eight goals this La Liga season. The first two goals Neymar scored were via penalty kick. Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez scored the other goal for Barcelona.

Neymar couldn't have chosen a better time to have an amazing week. As we all know Lionel Messi is currently out with a leg injury. Messi was sidelined last week from the FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers for Argentina, and he will miss the next few games for Barcelona

Cristiano Ronaldo also found the net this week as did Thomas Müller for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. Neymar is certainly inserting himself in the "best players in the world" conversation. With his eight goals, Neymar now leads all of La Liga in goal scored.
