The 2015-16 NBA season is about to start, which also means that the 2015 NBA Fantasy Basketball season will also kick off several days from now.

If you are planning to join a league and you are still undecided on who to pick as your main point guard, here is the top three point guards to choose from and some possible sleepers heading into the new season based on Yahoo's Big Board.

Stephen Curry - Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry is unsurprisingly the highest-ranked guard heading into the new season. The Warriors point guard is coming off the best season of his career, as he won the Most Valuable Player award and led Golden State to promise land last season.

Curry will give fantasy owners advantage on points, assists and three pointers after he averaged 23.8 points and 7.7 assists with 3.6 three-pointers per game. Curry also averaged 2.0 steals and 4.3 rebounds last season, and also shot 48.7 percent from the field and 44.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Chris Paul - Los Angeles Clippers

If you are looking to dominate the assist department, then Chris Paul should be on top of your list. The veteran playmaker posted 10.2 assists last season against just 2.3 turnovers per game.

Paul will also make fantasy owners happy with his point production, rebounds, steals and three-pointers. The 30-year-old All-Star posted 19.1 points, 4.6 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.7 three-pointers made per game. It should also be noted that Paul shot 48.5 percent from the field and a career-high 90.0 percent clip from the foul line.

Russell Westbrook - Oklahoma City Thunder

Russell Westbrook made fantasy owners happy last season with his averages on points, assists, rebounds and steals. He posted 28.1 points and 8.6 assists on top of 7.3 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game.

The Thunder superstar is the third-ranked point guard heading into the new season, but fantasy owners should be aware that he also averaged 4.4 turnovers and shot just 42.6 percent from the field last season.

Point Guard Sleepers

Mo Williams of the Cleveland Cavaliers is a good pick up for the first several weeks of the upcoming season. The veteran point guard, who averaged 14.2 points to go along with 6.2 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game last season, is expected to get a lot of opportunities until starting point guard Kyrie Irving returns from a knee injury.

Emmanuel Mudiay could also be an instant fantasy star this season. The rookie point guard will play a big role in Denver after the Nuggets parted ways with last season's starting point guard Ty Lawson, who was dealt to the Houston Rockets during the offseason.
