The new "Spider-Man" reboot may be years away but Tom Holland has revealed details about his upcoming portrayal in "Captain America: Civil War."

The young actor recently spoke to Hey U Guys and he was asked about the previous Spider-Mans played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Holland praised both actors and said that was impossible not to look at them.

He said, "I think it's impossible not to, they were so great and such real and rich performances and there's obviously factors I love and I will continue to try and recreate, but I think the most important thing at the moment is making a film which is obviously of the same character but make it a new and exciting movie."

The actor spoke a little about the injury he suffered on set. He said, "It was my own mistake. I basically fell over and bashed my face in front of about two hundred crew members, so not my most heroic moment!"

The upcoming Spider-Man is one of the most anticipated films in the Marvel slate especially since the company has promised to not tread the same ground that Sony has done twice. Fans also hope it will be an improvement from the last two films, which disappointed most fans.

Fans are also excited to see the character finally be part of the Avengers especially since he is one of the most popular Marvel characters in the canon.

Holland had his breakout in 2012 when he was cast in "The Impossible." The actor later went on to star in "Locke," "Pilgrimage" and will be seen in Ron Howard's epic "In the Heart of the Sea." The actor has also been seen in "Billy Elliot the Musical" and "Wolf Hall."

"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016 and the new Spider-Man reboot arrives on July 28, 2017.
