Everyone seems to be betting against the latest couple formed on The Bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell. Based on the two's romantic weekend and their social media accounts, however, they stand a shot.

Over the weekend, Galavis, 32, and Ferrell, 26, spent time in the Dominican Republic.

"They looked very happy together and were enjoying themselves," a source told E! News. "They had to leave the beach area due to so many fans coming up to them."

According to the website, the couple walked along the beach while holding hands and took a swim in the water. Later, they went to a wedding.

But could Andi Dorfman, the star of the upcoming season of The Bachelorette who made a name for herself by verbally taking down Galavis and resigning from The Bachelor, come between the two? Ferrell seems to be very committed to keeping Dorfman, 26, as a friend.

"@andi_dorfman I could not have made it through this experience without you. Thank you for being a best friend, someone I can always trust, laugh with, and cry with. I can't wait to hear all about your adventure! Much love. #thebachelorette #truefriendship #love," Ferrell said via Instagram last week attaching the above collage.

Ferrell even told People magazine that Dorfman would be at her wedding (which is more than she can promise about Galavis, who notably didn't propose at The Bachelor's finale).

"Andi and I will always be close, and she's entitled to her opinion about Juan Pablo. Those two were not meant to be, but I think it will eventually be a great friendship," Ferrell told People via Reality TV World. "...Andi will be at my wedding."

"Then you'll marry another guy," Galavis added laughing.

Still, it seems the love birds are giving it their best shot.

"I APPROVE this message @nikki_ferrell," Galavis said via Instagram yesterday attaching the photo below.
