Bayern Munich is apparently in a very bad mood following a scoreless draw over the weekend and a 2-0 loss the last time they met Arsenal in the Champions League.

Two of the team's prominent stars recently made it loud and clear that they will look to exact vengeance when the two sides meet again on Wednesday.

"We desperately need points. We have to show who is the better team," top goalscorer Robert Lewandowski said according to the Mirror. "We have to get the points. We're playing at home and will give our all."

Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal echoed the sentiment.

"We'll show Arsenal the real Bayern on Wednesday," Vidal said according to Bild, via the Daily Mail. "Our confidence is high. This time we'll take our chances and take the three points."

Lewandowski had a tremendous scoring run of 21 goals in a span of 14 matches from Aug. 1 through Oct. 10 for club and country. However, the Polish superstar has hit a dry spell, scoring just one goal in his last four matches; the lone strike came in a 4-0 win over FC Cologne in the German Bundesliga.

Arsenal needs the three points in this game if it hopes to salvage its Champions League hopes. After imploding against Olympiacos and Dinamo Zagreb, two very winnable games, the team pulled off the seemingly impossible with a 2-0 win over Bayern Munich to stay alive in a tough Champions League situation. With three points, the team is sitting in last place, while Olympiacos and Munich sit atop the group with six points each.

A win pulls the team even with Munich with rematches against Zagreb and Olympiacos awaiting. At that point, a win over both would look more likely, and Arsenal's seemingly putrid campaign would turn into a comeback story.

But there is work to be done. Munich has only lost one game the entire season -- the 2-0 loss to Arsenal. Beating them again will not be easy. Even getting a draw is a tall order, as the team has won every single home game this season.

Prediction: Bayern Munich will have its revenge, and it could get ugly. Look for the team to aggressively leap on Arsenal scoring a 5-1 win.

Start Time: 2; 45 PM EST
