All eyes are now on Oscar Pistorius, the former Olympian who is on trial for allegedly murdering his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in Pretoria on Valentine's Day in 2013.

Considering that Pistorius admitted to killing his girlfriend but not with any intention, it is widely expected that the 27-year-old will testify this coming week. Before he takes the stand, however, his defense team is expected to call Prof. Jan Botha as a witness first.

The South African track star, who went from being a national icon to a possible murderer, could be facing 25 years to life in prison if convicted. He shot his gun four times through his bathroom door when Steenkamp was inside and she died immediately. It is difficult to tell how the trial will end up because there are a number of different reports circulating the web. According to ESPN, some believe that Pistorius could just end up paying Steenkamp's family around a quarter of a million dollars.

A great deal of evidence has been spilled out into the media in recent days and weeks since the trial got underway. Photos that were taken at the scene following the death of Steenkamp were circulating around the web on various media outlets earlier this week.

In other news surrounding Pistorius, The Sun reported that the former Olympian has been dating a 19-year-old student throughout the past few months. According to reports, the British Tabloid paper said that they met in Mozambique in 2013.
