Ridley Scott 2012, sci fi hit Prometheus would now get a sequel entitled Alien:Covenant. The movie is moving into production quickly and it's officially on the go, set to hit theaters by next year. The fans have long waited for news and updates for the last few months, except that Scott's been dropping few hints from the anticipated follow-up movie. There's not much details at the moment and its scare, but there are few updates based on the plot, cast and few spoilers on the new Alien: Covenant movie.

Reports from CheatSheet states, the movie have been undergoing a lot of change over the title. Previously, in September, Prometheus 2 was not suppose to be the title, then it paid homage to the franchise with the title Alien: Covenant. On September 2015, the title changed to Alien: Paradise Lost before finalizing Alien: Covenant.

The initial official plot looks like Dr Elizabeth Shaw will not be back as the movie is only casting new roles and Michael Fassbender will play his original role stated by DigitalSpy. The Movie is originally drafted by the Michael ( Green Lantern, heroes), and Scott will produce and direct the Prometheus sequel. But, recently John Logan have been brought on board to revise Green's script along with Scott. So, there's not much clarity if they will stick to the previous teased plot and details.

There will also be be set of travelers on the scene which means David won't be on the journey on his own for the quest. The director describe that they will set to go to the Planet of Engineers and see disaster at the planet. But, the new group of travelers will be in the beginning of the first act.

Speaking of the creatures, they will be called Neomorphs rather than the Xenomorph seen on the original.
