The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 has been roaming around the rumor mills for quite some time and a lot of speculations have arisen. Recently, a leaked image from an alleged French website of Microsoft hinted some of the specs that the upcoming 2-in-1 device will sport.

According to Phone Arena, an alleged photo Microsoft Surface Pro 5 tablet has surfaced at a French website supposedly belonging to Microsoft. Nevertheless, the render having "win10-feature-surface-pro-5-z" titled is not yet confirmed to be the Microsoft Surface Pro 4's successor. Based on the image of the assumed Microsoft Surface Pro, the upcoming 2-in-1 tablet might be equipped with Type Cover with the Surface Pen placed in front of the device.

It was also noticeable that beside the supposed image of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, a name appears on a LinkedIn profile of a Microsoft employee which is named Neon. This is the code name which was given to a visual design language for Windows that will be engaged across multiple platforms.

Aside from the leaked image of Microsoft Surface Pro 5, Trusted Reviews has learned that the hybrid laptop might also feature a 4K display. Also, there is a possibility that it may be engineered with Intel's newest Kaby Lake processors, which were publicized was back in August last year.

As a refresher, the Microsoft Surface Pro series is the Redmond-based company's 2-in-1 range of Windows 10 devices. This line-up boasts a screen with a kickstand, a keyboard base, and a Surface Pen stylus. In contrast with the standard Surface series, the Surface Pro range is fortified with high-end hardware just like Intel's Core i7 processors.

When it comes with the release date, there are speculations that Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will hit the market shelves in March or April. As for the price, there is a probability that this hybrid gadget might be tagged somewhat similar to its predecessor's value.
