Juanes and Cedric Gervais recently premiered their song "Este Amor," which they created together, during a performance at the Miami Arena on Thursday.

For Gervais, the move was an attempt to win over more Latino music lovers, who are familiar with the work of the Colombian superstar.

"The song was created equally by the two of us and we both worked on the lyrics as well as the music, something that makes it a unique, innovative product," Gervais stated, according to Fox News Latino.

Collaboration has been common for Juanes throughout his career. One of his most famous collaborations was with Nelly Furtado on the song "Fotografia." The song was a big hit in the U.S. and across Latin America, in such countries as Argentina, Chile, Peru and Mexico. It was also a No. 1 hit in Spain. The song received a number of remixes and also reintroduced Furtado to Latin American audiences.

Another major collaboration for Juanes was with Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra. The Colombian and Dominican created the song "La Calle" together in 2010 and also filmed a music video in Santo Domingo that premiered in September of the same year.

Juanes also teamed up with famed Mexican artist Juan Gabriel for "Querida." Unlike his other collaborations, this is actually a cover of one of the Mexican artist's famed 1984 songs.

"It has been an honor for me to sing 'Querida,' one of Juan Gabriel's most emblematic songs," Juanes said at the time, according to Billboard.

He also performed songs with two artists for his "Juanes MTV Unplugged" live album. The first was "Azul Sabina," featuring Joaquin Sabina. The second song was "Hoy me voy," which featured Paula Fernandes. That song was also featured on Juanes' album "La Vida... Es Un Ratico," which he produced alongside Academy Award-winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla.

Finally, Juanes also had a collaboration with Claudia Leitte, a Brazilian singer and songwriter, on the song "La Luz."
