It's been a long time in the making, but the "Clash of Clans" update is finally here. The Town Hall 11 patch, which landed on Dec. 10, is one of Supercell's biggest "Clash of Clans" updates ever, bringing many game-changing features that players should watch out for.

According to an official post in the Supercell forums, the new level is the "biggest, baddest, most challenging Town Hall" in the game. The hero revealed is the Grand Warden, who is a powerful figure on the ground and in the air as well as strengthening troops in his radius by boosting and protecting them -- even making them temporarily invincible.

Another major addition is the Eagle Artillery, an ultra-powerful long-range weapon that can wipe out armies. It's important to note that the weapon can only be activated once there a certain number of troops have been fielded out.

Defensive schemes have also been tweaked in the new patch, so destruction of a Town Hall does not reward Shields anymore. Troops Witches and Minions have been updated as well, and Spells can now be requested starting from Level 4.

Since so many players have been waiting for the December patch, the initial problems of the update were also quickly revealed by those who tried the new experience. A report from Gotta Be Mobile said different bugs have emerged including a common complaint of the game crashing upon clicking of the Town Hall.

A personal break timer has also been limiting gameplay, kicking out players after three hours of the game. They would have to wait six minutes to play another 15 minutes and then another six-minute break is forced. After three cycles of this, the player can play for three hours again before the timer reinforces.

Another major problem that affected a small group of players as soon as the update kicked in is the loss of an entire village in the game. One remedy is to sync to Game Center or Google+ Games in iOS, and sign into Google+ Games on Android, but if this doesn't work, this would require a solution from the developers.

These are just a few of the bugs present in the expansive update. Fortunately, Supercell is in tune with the community and is working on the fixes for the various issues. An official post on the forums invited players to post bugs and problems online to facilitate faster solutions.
