The last-gen console versions of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 hit the shelves. The official release date for PS3 and Xbox 360 ports are set for today, Dec. 15, according to Game Rant.

A previous Latin Post report explained that Pro Skater 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360 was delayed by Activision to fix technical issues discovered in the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the skateboarding video game. Right now, it seems that the game will be quietly released on the market.

Game Rant noted that there was no official announcement regarding the release date of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. The release information only came from retailer listings pinning the game's launch on Dec. 15.

Furthermore, according to the post, PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of Skater 5 will offer less content than the PS4 and Xbox One versions. This is because the last-gen console versions do not have online multiplayer functionality.

Activision has not made any announcement if Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will also be getting free DLCs released since the game's launching.

"It's also unknown if the last-gen version will be released with the various bug fixes on-disc, or if gamers should expect a hefty day one patch for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 on PS3 and Xbox 360 as well," Game Rant's report also noted.

Game Rant also cited the possibility that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will suffer from bugs and technical issues similar to those seen from the game played on PS4 and Xbox One. Thus, gamers are advised to be more cautious when deciding to purchase Skater 5.

As described on Metacritic, Pro Skater 5 "offers a new take on combo-driven skateboarding, the most advanced Pro Skater online multiplayer experience in a Tony Hawk game, and a state-of-the-art skatepark builder." The game received mostly unfavorable reviews, getting a 32 MetaScore from the site and 1.5 User Score.

Cited on MetaCritic, PlayStation Lifestyle's review noted that even though Skater 5 offers "fun character customizations," the game suffers from various issues. These include "laggy multiplayer, dipping frame-rates, and off-putting physics."

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 for PS4 and Xbox One's initial release date was set on Sept. 29, 2015.
