Luis Miguel is having a rough ending to 2015. According to reports, the famed singer is slated to cancel the remainder of his U.S. tour due to health reasons.

El Nuevo Dia reported the singer will cancel performances in Boston, Chicago, New York and Charlotte, North Carolina. According to Billboard.com, his representatives noted that the singer has not been able to recover from previous ailments due to multiple commitments and his doctor recommended he cancel the remainder of his tour to help get back into top form.

The singer previously had to interrupt a concert in Mexico back in November. The singer reportedly took the stage for approximately 15 minutes during one performance, "stumbled over lyrics" and eventually walked off. The concert was subsequently cancelled and fans were given an opportunity to apply for refunds and new tickets to another concert.

Miguel did not give up after the incident, doing his best to perform in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Miami, according to El Nuevo Dia.

Miguel also canceled a performance in Yucatan in February, causing tremendous controversy over why he failed to show up. This latest development comes at a tough time for the renowned artist.

Singer Alejandro Fernandez recently revealed that he would be doing a tour alongside Miguel. The two have portrayed as rivals in the media, but their joint collaboration establishes them as a team. However, given his recent health issues, it is possible that this tour will face postponement or outright cancellation.

Miguel is known for his vast array of musical styles. He's a big time award-winner, garnering three Grammys for Best Latin Pop Album, two Grammys for Best Mexican/Mexican-American Album and three Latin Grammy Awards. He has put together a grand total of 22 studio albums, two live albums and 43 music videos.

He has also sold over 100 million records worldwide.
