PlayStation owners can now take advantage of the brand's recent update this week, with games now up for grabs at discounted prices. According to GameSpot, along with the discounted games available, is PlayStation's list of January 2016 free games, which include "Grim Fandango Remastered," "Dragon Age Origins" and "Hardware: Rivals." These free games are available to all PlayStation Plus members.

As for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita gaming deals, discounts are placed on "Batman: Arkham Knight," "WWE 2K16," "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" and "Mortal Kombat." In a post on the PlayStation Blog, the price of "WWE 2K16 Digital DeLuxe Edition" can now be purchased for $60.29 from its original price of $89.99. The "Batman Arkham Origins Ultimate Edition," which is playable on the PlayStation 3, can now be purchased for $18.75 from its original price of $37.49.

The PlayStation Vita has also some interesting discounted games to offer. "Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate" can now be purchased for only $10 while the "Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham" is also available now for only $10. PlayStation Vita's complete offer includes "A Boy and His Blob," "Dragon's Crown," "Lego the Hobbit," "Mortal Kombat" and "Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty."

Meanwhile, another GameSpot report revealed the top-selling games for the PlayStation platform based on its 2015 sales. According to the website, "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" dominated the chart followed by the "Grand Theft Auto V." The top five games on PlayStation 4 also include "Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Editon," "Star Wars: Battlefront" and "Fallout 4."

For games with DLC expansions, "The Taken King" took in the top spot when it comes to PlayStation 4 add-ons. However, the month of December gave "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" the upper hand when it comes to DLC downloads.

For the PlayStation Vita, the top best-selling games include "Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment," "Soul Sacrifice Delta," "Freedom Wars," "Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition" and "Gravity Rush."

The current list is for PlayStation's U.S. players. The PlayStation Blog EU has the statistics for European gamers and the list showed varied top-selling games compared to that of the U.S.

To complete the free games for PlayStation Plus members this January, PlayStation 3 included "Dragon Age: Origins" and "Medal of Honor Warfighter" to their roster. Meanwhile, PlayStation Vita added "Nihilumbra," "Legends of War Patton" and "Grim Fandango Remastered."
