Jennifer Lawrence may be considered one of the best actresses of our generation, but she definitely makes no effort to put on an act for anybody off the movie screen.

The 23-year-old star of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" gave paparazzi something to talk about when she flipped the bird at photographers trailing a pink taxi with Lawrence and her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

According to E! Online, witnesses first spotted Lawrence with her X-Men co-star and suspected fiancée on a romantic date at the Italian restaurant Pesantissimo in London. The couple seemed very happy as they drank wine and laughed with one another. Lawrence toyed around with Hoult as he had a phone conversation, making funny faces and even snatching the cell out of his hand to talk herself at one point.

The good mood didn't last long.

No one came to approach the couple at the restaurant, but paparazzi caught the two coming from the side door of the Dorchester bar later that evening. They snuck past cameras into a pink taxi decorated with a picture of two newlyweds holding hands, fueling rumors that Hoult may have proposed to Lawrence.

Whether Lawrence was annoyed by the rumors, or if she just disliked being tracked and photographed (I'd bet on the latter) is unclear. What's certain is that she wasn't happy about it and she aptly expressed her displeasure as her boyfriend urged her to put her finger down.

Lawrence has always been humble and awkwardly amazed at her newfound fame. Although amazing on the big screen, she doesn't seem the type to enjoy being photographed 24-7. Paparazzi caught the actress shielding herself from cameras just last Thursday.

E! Online recently interviewed Nicholas Hoult about dealing with the all the media attention his girlfriend is receiving.

"The privacy thing obviously changes but the rest pretty much stays the same," Nicholas said.

"It's like that thing whereby you don't believe your own hype. Enjoy the good times, but don't get swept away with it. And I think that's something she's capable of doing and that's what makes her special, but yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways.

"It is well-deserved for her. I haven't really seen any change in her."
