Aaron Hernandez's North Attleborough mansion is now on the market at a price of $1.5 million.

The 5,600 square-foot home sits just a stone's throw away from Gillette Stadium, the home field Hernandez once starred on as a rising tight end with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

House was key in Odin Lloyd Trial

Video surveillance from the five-bedroom, six-bathroom home was key in Hernandez's 2015 murder trial, which ended with him found guilty of the execution-style killing of Odin Lloyd and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

In one video, he is captured holding what looked like a gun inside the home not long after Lloyd was gunned down.

Hernandez is also awaiting trial as the trigger-man in a 2012 drive-by shooting that left two men dead in downtown Boston. During the Lloyd trial, prosecutors theorized that he may have shot Lloyd because he knew too much about other violent crimes he is suspected of having been involved in.

He has pleaded not guilty and is expected to go on trial later this year.

Trial Underway for one of Hernandez's two Alleged Accomplices

Earlier this month, one of two men charged as an accomplice to Hernandez in the Lloyd killing went on trial on the same murder charges the former NFL star was convicted of.

In their opening statements, attorneys for Ernest Wallace fingered Hernandez as the trigger-man in the Lloyd slaying. While admitting that their client was with Hernandez on the night in question, they also insisted Hernandez acted alone in opening fire on Lloyd.

"It was Aaron Hernandez who shot and killed Odin Lloyd," defense attorney David Meier told the court, adding that his client had no idea what Hernandez was about to do.

"Did [Wallace] actively participate? Did he know what Aaron Hernandez was going to do? Absolutely not," Meier added. "That's what the evidence is. That's what the law is going to be in this case."

Carlos Ortiz has also been charged with murder in the Lloyd killing and is being tried separately from Wallace.
