Next week will see the arrival of one of the most important Latin American events in the media industry. Bringing together professionals in communications, film, television, digital content and journalism, Hispanicize 2016 is set to take place between April 4 and April 8. The event is located at the Intercontinental Miami.

The event will feature a plethora of different features to get the conversation going between professional. Here are some interesting aspects of this year's event.

IZEA's Ted Murphy to deliver the keynote

Murphy is the founder, CEO and Chairman of IZEA and often referred to as one of the first to get bloggers paid. His speech will focus on content creation and social sponsorship in the Hispanic digital community. He will also talk about the skills needed to succeed in today's digital world.

"I'm honored to speak at the inaugural DiMe Summit and look forward to connecting with the influential and talented content creators that are leading from the front in the Hispanic social community," said Murphy according to Market Wired. "Our goal at IZEA is provide leading technologies that enable sponsorships to reach the diverse Creator-base that our marketplace contains. Celebrating and supporting the Hispanic community is vital to that goal."

Politics will be at the forefront

It should be no surprise that with primary season in full swing and with Latinos at the center of major conversations between candidates, Hispanicize will dedicate time and space to have panels on the political conversation.

Some panels will talk about the influence that Latino media has on the election as well as the power of social media on the political discourse.

Major celebrities will be around

A major event usually has its share of prominent celebrities and this year's Hispanicize is no different. Rosario Dawson, who has been a vocal Bernie Sanders supporter in this election, will be present. Actress Alice Braga will also be around at the event.

Telemundo will also showcase a number of its own famed artists including Julissa Bermudez and Giselle Blondet among others.

There is a record number of sponsors this year

An indication of the growth of a conference is the increase in the number of sponsors. This year's list, according to About en espanol, is larger than it has ever been with 30 media partners and over 50 sponsors including Prudential, Amazon, Best Western, Unilever, Carnival Corporation, Toyota, Que Rica Vida, Coca-Cola, General Mills, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Home Depot, ViveMejor, JCPenney, Wells Fargo, State Farm, JetBlue Airways, KOA, Stitch Fix, San Antonio Winery, Nestle's La Lechera, Dominican Republic Tourism, MSNBC, NBC News and NBCUniversal among others.

All this points to is a growing interest in Hispanicize, emphasizing the power Latinos are slowly capturing.
