The 45 year old star Mark Wahlberg needs to maintain a massive diet in order to stay in shape for the film "Transformers". Having a muscular physic is not an easy task, and maintaining that physic is even tougher.

The "Transformers" actor reveals his everyday diet plan by stating that he starts at 2 am with egg whites and Ezekiel bread along with some almond butter. As stated by Just Jared he then moves on to have some Greek yogurt and a shake, then kicks into some turkey burgers with sweet potato

After all the massive eating, Mark says he also has a chicken. While his kids eat pancakes Mark is roasting a chicken. That seems to be a massive diet for the star. Mark says that his whole house smells like chicken, but it does not seem like he could compromise of his diet.

With all these meals completed in about half a day Mark also has some tuna salad and white fish. On the outside everyone thinks being an actor is about the glamour and fame and money, but the inside story is different in order to sustain in the industry one must ensure he meets his needs.

For a film like "Transformer" and for the role Mark plays it is very certain that he needs to maintain a muscular body. Fighting with robots is surely not easy as it seems. According to Cinema Blend the director of the film gave him a hard time by stating he could not look the way he is right now when the film begins to progress.

It seems just like how Tom Hanks reduced his weight for "Cast Away", Mark needs to gain more muscle for "Transformers". It is not easy as it looks, simply eating a rich diet of food will not help on the other hand Mark needs to stay fit by working out every day.
