Robert Kirkman, creator of "The Walking Dead" comic book and executive producer and writer for the AMC show, has been quite candid about the show lately as it currently films season 5.

Kikrman has been sharing some fun fan "The Walking Dead" pictures these days. Yesterday, Kirkman retweeted a hilarious fan post featuring a picture from @theonemrjones predicting that "Rick takes on a new lifestyle approach" in season 5. Kirkman dubbed the picture "Spoilers!"

Last week, Kirkman appeared on Doug Benson's podcast show, Doug Loves Movies (Bryan Bishop, Jon Favreau and Nick Thune were also guests). The show, as expected from comedian Benson, was very lighthearted. At one point, Benson asked Kirkman if he saw Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, play Mark in 2003's "Love Actually."

"...You thought that pu**y, that piece of sh*t from that movie could play a stand-up guy like Rick Grimes?" Benson asked.

"Well, I mean, I don't know if you watch the show, but Rick Grimes is kind of a pu**y," Kirkman responded. "He screws up a lot. He gets his ass kicked ..."

Kirkman also took a stab at the quality of acting on "The Walking Dead" show.

"There's a few bad actors too. I mean, let's be honest," he joked.

In late April, Kirkman also appeared on Sundance channel's "The Writer's Room," where he revealed that "The Walking Dead" could have been on NBC if they just changed one minor detail.

"It didn't get made because when the pilot was turned in, the famous story is one of the executives said, 'This is awesome. I really love this. Does it have to have zombies in it?'" Kirkman shared. "You couldn't have done that kind of show at that network. We were very concerned early on what kind of gore we were going to be able to film and what kind of boundaries we were going to be able to push with the show."

Season 5 of "The Walking Dead" premieres on AMC in October. On Tuesday, the show released its first preview of the season: a simple photo of Rick Grimes with blood on his face.
