The fourth installment of the six-part Digimon Adventure: Tri will be coming out on February 25th. Titled "Loss," it continues where the first three films left off.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

According to Anime News Network, Tai (Taichi) and the rest of the Digidestined proceed to the Digital World after Meicoomon's rampage and the following Reboot, leaving behind Meiko in a distressed state. Facing their Digimon partners once again, albeit with no previous memory of them, they start forging new relationships.

Biyomon, on the other hand, is quite wary of the situation, telling her partner Sora that she has no memories of the past. This causes distrust in her heart, and despite the efforts of Matt (Yamato) and Tai to cheer her up, no words could console the heartbroken Sora.

Meanwhile Meicoomon appears in front of the Digidestined, with teary eyes and with her memory, as she is looking for Meiko. This causes them to decide to journey through the Digital World to look for the Digimon, only to find their path barred by a man who seems to have control over the Dark Masters.

Back to the real world, Nishijima finds out that Himekawa disappeared through a note. After some investigation, he finds out that she has a hidden agenda behind all her actions.

As iTech Post adds, this upcoming movie plans to address the criticism the first three movies received. Serving as a celebration of the 15th year of the original TV series, the hype for the miniseries died down due to negative feedback by viewers, like an unpolished story and the movies having a rushed feel to them.

Crunchyroll has streamed the first three movies on the same day it was released in theaters in Japan. In the US, the first movie was released in theatres on September 19, which received an extended run on September 29.
