News quickly spread that episode 71 of "Dragon Ball Super" would be the most controversial yet with reports that Son Goku dying in the hands of assassin Hit. The title of the episode was thought to be a giveaway: 'Goku Dies! Assassination Order That Must Be Performed!' however the title of episode 71 has automatically gave away the plot that Goku lives. Now fans of the hit animation series are confused.

Inquisitr revealed that it would be completely unwise to presume that Goku dies in episode 71 of "Dragon Ball Super." Ending Goku's life makes no sense at all since it has been revealed in episodes set in the future that the hero is alive and well. Hit is indeed a very good assassin but he would spare Goku's life.

Hit will damage Goku in a battle in episode 71 and his injuries will be enough to kill him. However, a certain rule will hold him back, according to reports. Hit has fought Goku before and it was revealed that he was more skilled than the hero. During that battle, he was also able to injure him but did not end his life because he was not allowed to kill anyone from Universe 6 in a 6 vs. 7 tournament.

Future Trunks also revealed before that the new Omniverse battle will start. Killing Goku at present episodes of "Dragon Ball Super" is therefore something that is impossible to happen.

University Herald also revealed the title of episode 72 further disproving Son Goku's death. Episode 72 will be 'Counter Attack? An Invisible Assassination Skill?' this looks like Goku discovering a new power which will possibly allow him to dodge Hit's assassination moves.

With the working title for episode 72 of "Dragon Ball Super" it is also revealed that the much-awaited fight between Goku and Hit will continue from 71 to 72. Episode 73 could be the start of a new Omniverse Tournament saga.
