Beyoncé and Jay Z has released a star-studded preview trailer on Saturday, May 17, seemingly promoting their highly anticipated upcoming "On the Run" tour."

In three-minute short film "RUN," directed by Grammy award-winning music video creator Melina Matsoukas and presented by Rocnation and Parkwood Entertainment, the hip-hop power couple is seen channeling their Bonnie and Clyde.

Hov plays a gangster, who decides to go big and takes his love Queen Bey into a dangerous game that could get them both killed. The clip opens with the Brooklyn rapper realizing that he should have listened to his mentor Sean Penn, who has previously warned him of danger. "I can remember this one time when you told me, 'When the shit gets bigger than the cat, get rid of the cat,'" he says. "I didn't know what the fuck you were talking about till right now."

With the pair's duet "Part II (On the Run)" and Hov's hit "FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt" featuring Rick Ross set, Jay Z and Beyoncé find themselves in violence, car crashes and explosions after they decide to rob a bank. They not only are on the run from the police but also from other gangsters.

The new impressive project has recruited a bunch of A-list celebrities, including Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Jake Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum, Guillermo Diaz, Rashida and Kidada Jones, to be featured as cameos.

The pseudo-film was also made possible by producers Jonathan Lia and Inga Veronique, executive producers Chaka Pilgrim, Candice Ouaknine, Shawn Carter and Beyoncé Knowles Carter, as well as directors of photography Dave Devlin and Paul Laufer. According to "Run," the release date of the movie is "coming never."

The "Drunk in Love" duo's forthcoming 16-date "On the Run" stadium tour is scheduled to kick off June 25 in Miami Florida and end August 5 in San Francisco, California.
