At the MWC 2017, LG launched its G6 smartphone that is currently occurring in Barcelona, though the device is not an LG flagship of 2017 but it is still totally premium. And now, LG executed a Frontback feature into the new G6 called "Match Shot."

According to TC, the mobile application made an interesting photo format with two square-ish pictures to share in front of the person and a selfie. The application was really intriguing however, it failed to get after an initial surge. With this, LG presented the feature to its G6 camera out of the box.

The huge new feature of LG's phone has a taller display, which the company replaced the 16:9 display to a 2:1 display that exactly fits the two squares on top of the screen. The square camera application permits the person to take a square picture and instantly review it in full size in the viewfinder.

TP  reported that it is convenient when everyone wants to have photo perfect, however, it is even better if the Frontback-like Match Shot feature will permit the person to snap a selfie and place it on top or at bottom of the screen of another photo that is taken by the G6 rear camera. The two pictures that form a few squares are set vertically in top-bottom sequence.

The feature is not earth shaking, however, it is unquestionably interesting to see cell phone manufacturers strive hard to include new, small stuff to improve the general user to a better experience. Meanwhile, the expectation seems to be in the air as these rear/front pictures will become a trademark of LG clients wishes that their G6 will flaunt with the said feature.

Many have tried to attempt creating such format, from Vine to Mindie, Frontback and more. In many cases, formats can be interesting yet it is hard to transform them into a business, but only Instagram and Snapchat have become sustainable, and countless failed for others.
