Putting rumors to rest, Adele confirmed her recent marriage to longtime beau Simon Konecki. The British vocalist straightforwardly guaranteed her marriage to the audience while performing in Brisbane, Australia.

Brushing aside speculations which have been ongoing for months, British idol Adele has made the news of her marriage public. The singer ecstatically told the concertgoers that she was "married now" to Simon, reports CNN.

The singer made the news viral before staging the performance of her magical 2011 chartbuster "Somebody Like You." The marvel shed light on emotions, love, and passion. She continued by saying that the feeling of falling in love for the first time is surreal and unexplainable.

She told the crowd that breakups can often be messy and terrible. However, the chanteuse is addicted to the feeling of love. "Obviously I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I found my next person."

Adele, 28, and Simon, 42 began dating in 2011. They have a four-year-old son, Angelo James. Rumors regarding their marriage kicked off when the "Hello" singer was spotted wearing a plain, gold engagement band on her ring finger. These speculations became prevalent furthermore when Simon was also pictured wearing a band, adding fuel to the fire.

Earlier this year, the Award-winning singer opened up about her "perfect" and "confident" partner. Adele maintained that she does not prefer to date someone from the same career as it's all about the ego then, reports Vanity.

"He's not threatened by any stage of my life that I'm going for, and that's an amazing thing. It's the most serious relationship I've ever been in."

Singer Adele was spotted locking lips with significant other Simon during the Grammy Awards in February 2017. The latter is the co-founder of Life water and its charity Drop4drop, which is a platform to advocate for clean, healthy water.
