Georgia police have issued an arrest warrant for Mike Epps after a local Atlanta comedian alleged that the famous comic and his posse physically assaulted him outside of a comedy club.

The victim, Lavar Walker, claims that the famous comedian and two other men attacked him outside a northwest Atlanta comedy club Saturday night over a parody video that he posted about Epps on Instagram earlier that evening. In the 15-second video, Walker pokes fun at Epps and his social media war of words against Kevin Hart.

According to walker, the 43-year-old actor asked him to step outside to talk. When he got outside, he was then struck in the face and kicked in the stomach and back in a parking lot.

Walker's lawyer, Chris Stewart, said Epps didn't like the parody and attacked his client with his entourage.

"He was told Mr. Epps wanted to see him outside," Stewart told WSB-TV.

"That's not funny and for this to all happen over that Instagram joke is ridiculous," Stewart said.

Another local comedian named Bo Micadelic said he witnessed the incident.

"I was shocked by it all to go down like that, especially with Mike Epps who's supposed to be a superstar. Why would he get involved in something?"

Micadelic added that "He was basically pleading for them to stop" and that he heard Epps say: "Don't make any more videos of me."

The police report does not identify the two men who allegedly beat Walker. It also says Epps drove off.

Walker's lawyers said they plan to pursue criminal charges against Epps and file a civil suit.

"This type of violence over silly things like a joke video has to stop and people have to be held accountable for it," Stewart said.

The new warrant comes two months after Epps was accused of assaulting a woman at a movie premiere party in Los Angeles back in April, reports MSN.
