Now that star Meryl Davis and professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy have won "Dancing with the Stars," rumors about the duo having a romantic relationship are hotter than ever.

On June 2, Chmerkovskiy uploaded a picture of him with his arm around Davis onto his Instagram page.

"All is right in the world again! Got my long awaited hug!" the caption said.

A little social media love is enough to get excite any gossipers, but Chmerkovskiy also teased "about our romance" in an interview with Us Weekly this week.

"I love her. I love her!" he told the tabloid magazine. "I love her as a person and for what she has allowed me to do with our choreography and how much she's embraced it. ... She's a brilliant person, and she's also very normal. I enjoyed my time with her. It was sad when the season was over."

Chmerkovskiy added, however, that he still gets dinner with Davis. Again, a one-on-one dinner is sure to get the rumor mill churning, which is exactly what it did on May 20.

"Maks and Meryl were super feely," a source told Us Weekly about the former partners' meal. "Before dinner they were in a corner talking really close. He kept kissing her on the forehead and was doting on her."

According to a different Us Weekly "insider," however, Chmerkovskiy is "that affectionate with all women. He always acts like that. It's how he is, very feely."

Davis also dished on her relationship with the dancer in a recent interview with Huffington Post.

"I've never been one to comment on my personal life, but Maks and I have an amazing relationship," she said. "Our chemistry, I think, definitely stems from, you know, our friendship, the time we spent together on and off the dance floor, and we had an amazing time."
