Salma Hayek Turns Head at Oscars 2020 With Gucci Dress

In one of the most glamorous nights in the entertainment community, Salma Hayek was a true head-turner. The 53-year old Latina actress walked the red carpet at the 2020 Oscars, looking like a Greek goddess in a gorgeous white gown, according to an article by Inquisitr.

The Oscars 2020 held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles gathered the biggest artists to recognize the best among the best in various categories in filmmaking. Aside from the winners, fans also anticipate year by year what their favorite celebrities would be wearing.

On her Instagram account, Hayek treated her fans in advance with her snapshot while she was still at home getting ready to leave. She captioned, "Late for the #Oscars but almost there!" but the actress seemed to arrive just in time for everyone to notice and capture her look as she posed on the red carpet.

Hayek's billowing white asymmetrical gown has a single cape sleeve and a thin, jeweled spaghetti strap. Its draping flowed to the floor and blended in with the rest of the gown. The skirt which perfectly hugged her small frame also had a slit from the mid-thigh downwards.

To accentuate her gown, Hayek wore a Boucheron jewelry. She also donned a 6-feet Gucci high-heel sandals. Although she wasn't seen to be carrying a purse with her, her look was enough to get admiration from onlookers.

Hayek's brunette hair was neatly tied in a sophisticated bun and accented with a hairpiece to match the Greek goddess attire. Her makeup consisted of a hint of sparkling pink eyeshadows, luscious long lashes, black eyeliner that emphasized her deep brown eyes. She also applied a little bit of blush and appeared to wear a little bronze color on her face. To complete her look, she put on a pale pink lip color matching up to her outfit.

The 53-year-old Frida actress displayed another amazing look off the Oscars red carpet on Saturday, as The Inquisitr had previously reported. She looked just as beautiful in more casual clothes as she was gearing up for her appearance at 2020 Academy Awards.

Hayek also shared online her time with her friends in the industry, including her fellow Latina actress Penelope Cruz. She captioned the photo, "Hanging out in the green room! #BehindTheScenes  Pasando el rato en la sala verde! @NataliePortman @PenelopeCruzOficial #OscarIsaac @Elvira_Lind_ @BenjaminMillepied #Oscars"

Prior to the ceremonies, Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz shared an adorable moment together at the red carpet, according to an aticle by Fox News.

The two actresses who were attending the awards show as presenters for the night, were spotted fangirling over each other on the red carpet.

The 53-year-old actress also made the audience laugh when she took to the stage to present the award for best sound editing.

Salma joked that she finally got to hold an "Oscar" on stage as she held Oscar Isaac's hand up high.

Isaac then jokingly replied, "Oscar's not so white now."

In 2003, Hayek was nominated for Oscar's best actress for her role in Frida.
