Another Georgia county has discovered a memory card containing thousand of votes that had not been uploaded into the system used in the state.

Many of the voters were for U.S. President Donald Trump, according to The Daily Wire.

Gabriel Sterling, Voting System Implementation Manager of the state, has explained what happened in the Fayette County.

Sterling said that there were votes that had been scanned and were on memory card. He added, however, that the issue was that they had not been uploaded.

In addition to that, Sterling said that it was easier to discover than the issue in Floyd County as they were able to see that the number of people already checked in on the early voting file in Fayette was higher than the number of people there was in the country's reported vote total.

Earlier report of The New York Times showed that Trump won the Fayette County by 19 points in 2016. For this year's election, the points of winning were up to six points. Daily Beast reported Sam Brodey also watched the tally for the said uncounted votes.

"GA elections spox @GabrielSterling says the ongoing election audit confirmed 2,755 previously uncounted votes in Fayette County 1,577 for Trump 1,128 for Biden Biden's statewide advantage in GA now down to 12,929," Brodey was quoted on his tweet.

Aside from Fayette County, Floyd County also saw a memory card that had not been uploaded in the county where Trump was leading by 40 points.

The recovered votes may also aid Republican Sen. David Perdue in his bid for reelection and avoid a runoff against Democratic opponent Jon Ossoff. Perdue was around 14,000 votes away from securing 50 percent of the vote for his reelection goals.

Secretary of the State, Brad Raffensperger, said that the votes were missed as election workers failed to upload the votes into a ballot counting machine.

The Floyd County discrepancy does not appear to be a widespread issue, the secretary's office added.

A local reporter, Jamie Dupree, said that he would be seeing a different reaction from people if the votes were found in Fulton County, which is a deep blue area.

"That if this was Fulton County finding uncounted votes, my Twitter mentions would be melting down. But when it's two GOP counties (Floyd & Fayette), well it's just a shrug of the shoulders," Dupree was quoted in a report.

Floyd County

More than 2,600 ballots were found in Floyd County that had not originally been counted, which would likely help Trump reduce his 14,000 vote gap to Democratic opponent Joe Biden.

Sterling called this mistake an amazing blunder and said that the county's elections director should resign, as reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Sterling said that this is not an equipment issue, and this is a person not doing their job properly.

Sterling added that this kind of situation requires a change at the top of their management.

Luke Martin, chairman of the Floyd County Republican Party, said that it is veery concerning and he is glad that the audit discovered it as it is important that all votes are counted.
