Amber Heard gets honest about what she feels for her ex-husband Johnny Depp, even after the bombshell defamation trial that revealed a glimpse of how they lived their married life.

Speaking to Savannah Guthrie's second installment of the interview in the "Today Show Interview," aired on Wednesday, the "Aquaman" actress revealed that she still has feelings for her ex-husband, according to CNN.

"I love him. I loved him with all my heart," Amber Heard said in the interview.

The actress went on to say that she tried her best to make a "deeply broken relationship" work, but she could not. She then noted that she has no bad feelings or ill will towards the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star.

"I know that might be hard to understand or it might be really easy to understand if you've just ever loved anyone," Heard further explained about what she feels for Depp.

Heard also shared what concerns her after the defamation trial with the actor. She said she is now "nervous to speak out," worried that her every move might present another opportunity for silencing.

Amber Heard Says Her 2018 Op-Ed Was Not About Johnny Depp

In her interview with Guthrie, Heard also pointed out that her 2018 op-ed with Washington Post, where she claimed to be a domestic violence survivor and did not mention Depp by name, was not about her relationship with the actor, per People.

"What the op-ed was about was me loaning my voice to a bigger cultural conversation that we were having at the time," Heard further noted.

She also denied the allegations that the op-ed was intended to get Depp canceled through its publication. Heard then contended that she had teams of lawyers that reviewed her write-up or drafts.

The day before the second part of her interview with Today aired, Heard shared how she felt when she was still in a relationship with Johnny Depp.

"I will always continue to feel like I was a part of this like I was the other half of this relationship because I was. And it was ugly and could be very beautiful. It was very, very toxic," Heard noted, adding that she and Depp were "awful" to each other.

She then insisted that she will stand to every word in her testimony until her dying day.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp Trial

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard engaged in a defamation case regarding a 2018 op-ed written by the actress where she painted herself as a domestic violence survivor.

The op-ed did not mention Depp's name, but he claimed that he was booted from some of his movie roles because of it due to the "clear implication" that he was the abuser in their relationship.

The actor sought $50 million in damages, while the actress also sought $100 million in a counterclaim against the actor. However, the jury ruled in favor of Johnny Depp on June 1, as they awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. Meanwhile, Amber Heard was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages but no punitive damages.
