A new report claimed that former President Donald Trump was left furious after having dinner with Kanye West and infamous white nationalist Nick Fuentes at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Trump reiterated on Fox News Tuesday that he did not know who Fuentes was and detached himself from his racism after being urged by fellow Republicans.

"I had never heard of the man - I had no idea what his views were, and they weren't expressed at the table in our very quick dinner, or it wouldn't have been accepted," the former president told the outlet.

According to Daily Mail, Trump called last week's meeting with the rapper and white supremacist "uneventful." On Thursday night, Kanye revealed in a campaign video he shared on his Twitter that he asked Trump to be his running mate for his 2024 presidential bid during his visit to Trump's Mar-a-Lago home.

The rapper noted that Trump was "perturbed" and "caught off guard" when he suggested that the former president sign on as his running mate. Kanye added that Trump yelled at him when he asked him to be his running mate, telling him that his 2024 presidential run was a mistake.

NBC News reported that Trump was left enraged after the dinner that the rapper betrayed him by ambushing him. Trump has told his allies: "He tried to f*** me. He's crazy. He can't beat me."

A Trump adviser has told the outlet that the former president was "totally blindsided" by the "setup" dinner. Another adviser also told NBC News after the dinner that it was a "f---ing nightmare." The source added that they were concerned that the meeting could affect Trump's chances of being the Republican presidential nominee in 2024.

The two people familiar with the dinner also told the outlet that the former president was warned to be careful in accepting a meeting with Kanye amid widespread backlash over his recent antisemitic remarks. But Trump reportedly went ahead with the dinner, telling advisers that he thought Kanye needed his counsel.

Fuentes is known for making racist comments and denying the Holocaust, which has been widely condemned. On the other hand, several companies have already broken ties with Kanye over his antisemitic remarks.

Milo Yiannopoulos Brags About Setting Up the Dinner to Make Donald Trump's Life 'Miserable'

Former Marjorie Taylor Greene intern and right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos told NBC News that he had set up the meeting "just to make Trump's life miserable."

Yiannopoulos noted that he was "the architect" of the plan to have Nick Fuentes travel with Kanye West and slipped the white nationalist into the dinner with the former president.

He said he wanted "to show Trump the kind of talent that he's missing out on by allowing his terrible handlers to dictate who he can and can't hang out with."

Yiannopolous noted that he also persuaded former Trump 2016 adviser Karen Giorno to bring Kanye to Mar-a-Lago for the meeting to lend the group more credibility.

Like Trump, Giorno told NBC News that she did not know Fuentes' identity until it was too late. When she learned Fuentes' last name, she reportedly thought: "I'm going to kill Milo."

Trump's inner circle has faulted Giorno for not giving him or his team a heads-up about Fuentes. But Giorno said she tried to leave Trump with Kanye privately and accompanied the other guys to the bar.

However, Trump deferred, letting Kanye decide if he wanted his companions to join them. Kanye reportedly replied: "Yes... Let's all eat."

Yiannopolous is currently working as an adviser to Kanye West's 2024 presidential campaign. He reportedly resigned as a former Breitbart editor after he made comments condoning pedophilia.

Unlike Donald Trump, Kanye West Has yet to File His Paperwork for 2024 Presidential Run

Unlike Donald Trump, Kanye West has yet to file the basic paperwork to become a presidential candidate in 2024. The former president filed his paperwork to run again in 2024 with the Federal Election Commission on November 15.

During the 2020 presidential election, Kanye reportedly conceded after garnering 60,000 votes across 12 states. The results were not surprising, given the rapper's late entry into the race followed by a haphazard campaign.

He ran as an independent candidate under the "Birthday Party" banner. Kanye's vague platform promised to "reduce household debt" and restore prayer in schools. However, the actual policy side of his campaign seemed to lack details.

He even suggested bringing more "fun" back to the White House. Although he has conceded in the 2020 presidential election, the rapper previously said he will not give up on his dream to be the next U.S. president and look forward to the 2024 election.
