Ali Spice TikTok Journey

Ali Spice's regular blogging about her work as a waiter at Hooters gained her popularity among her over one million TikTok followers.

Her most famous brush with fame occurred in January of this year when she posted a video complaining about the small tips she had received on her recent shift.

The TikTok star viral video divided the internet, said Distractify. While some patrons expressed sympathy and suggested that others increase their tips, others said she was ungrateful and entitled.

Ali has reason to worry when she receives terrible tips in a system where many servers rely on them to make up for below-minimum-wage salaries.

Ali was also quite active on Twitch and Instagram, where she regularly shares photos and videos and TikTok videos.

The loss of Ali is devastating for her followers, but those who had the chance to interact with her in person or online will feel it the most.

In a message posted to the late influencer's Instagram account on Tuesday morning, they said, "I'm posting this because this young lady made a mistake that social media took a hold of and created [its] own narrative, rumors and lies around this time in her life."

According to Narcity, they also assured the public that Ali would not want anyone to use social media to accuse others of the murder that took her life falsely.

The statement explained that the family was helping Florida police with their investigation and that people should stop making assumptions about who was responsible for the crime.

"We have full confidence the person responsible will be caught [...] At this time we don't know who did this or if the driver was impaired at the time (sic)."
