Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly want an apology from the royal family and a royal summit amid their controversial Netflix docuseries.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly urging Buckingham Palace to apologize before considering their attendance at King Charles' coronation next year.

Sources said that the Royal Family were left baffled by reports that Harry and Markle want to meet to address their grievances. Sources also noted that the royals are "refusing to respond" until they also admit their own mistakes that contributed to the fight.

A royal expert believes that there will be no chance that the royals will make the first move in any reconciliation efforts.

A source is reported to have said that Charles does not want to be involved in a "public tit for tat."

Another source asked, "who's apologizing to whom?"

The report of the Sussexes seeking an apology was released after Lady Susan Hussey met with black charity boss Ngozi Fulani for "reconciliation talks" at Buckingham Palace.

Hussey stepped down from her honorary role immediately after Fulani tweeted that the Lady asked her repeatedly, "where do you really come from?" at a royal reception.

In new episodes of the series, Harry claimed that his older brother, Prince William, screamed and shouted at him over his decision to step back from his royal duties.

A friend of William reportedly said that things have been "very strained for a while" between the brothers.

One source said nothing was ever done when Harry and Markle raised their concerns. There was no formal apology, meeting, or taking accountability.

Harry and Markle both recounted instances in their Netflix docuseries where the duchess felt unsupported by the Palace while being racially targeted by the British press.

It was reported that the Palace has no plans to meet with the Sussexes and will not be making a comment on their Netflix docuseries.

Royal Family on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The royal family is still waiting for Harry's memoir "Spare" before Charles makes his decision over granting titles to his grandchildren.

Archie and Lilibet are, by default, entitled to become Prince and Princess but are still waiting for their grandfather's decision on the matter.

One source close to the royals said that Charles is waiting for the right time to issue his final decision.

Markle was asked in a 2021 Oprah interview if she wanted Archie and Lilibet to be given the title of Prince and Princess.

The actress answered yes, "if it meant he was going to be safe."

Meanwhile, one Palace insider said the two brothers are "done."

A source said that there is a "great source of mistrust," which was why William will not speak to his younger brother as he is "nervous that anything he says might end up in a book or a TV series."
