Tom Brady has shared his thoughts on what the Green Bay Packers quarterback should do as he deliberates his future in a remote cabin as other clubs plot their moves to get him.

Brady stated that he did not want Aaron Rodgers to retire at the 32:33 mark of a "Let Us Go!" podcast with Jim Gray.

The retired Buccaneers legend quarterback stated his eagerness to see Rodgers and other great athletes continue their careers, ClutchPoints reports.

"You know what, I hope he doesn't retire," Brady said, stating that the league needs quality quarterbacks, and Aaron Rodgers retirement would be a loss for the league.

After adding Nathaniel Hackett, Aaron Rodgers' former offensive coordinator, and inquiring about his trade availability, the New York Jets seems ready to make a splashy move involving Rodgers.

On the other hand, the Packers will try to keep him by surrounding him with more talent and fending off interest from other teams.

Even though Aaron Rodgers will turn 40 at the end of the year, he still has a chance to contribute to a winning team if competent players surround him.

After Tom Brady's retirement announcement dominated NFL coverage for weeks, the 2023 NFL offseason will revolve around Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers Says an Isolation Retreat Will Help Him Decide

Rodgers has spent his whole 18-year NFL career with the Packers. After winning the league's MVP award two years in a row (2020 and 2021), his performance decreased in 2022.

Rodgers' availability in a trade has been speculated upon after the Packers finished 8-9, missing the playoffs and likely moving ahead to the future. Additionally, he has publicly expressed his intention to retire.

"I'm still in the art of contemplation about my future," Rodgers said on February 7 during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.

Rogers has stated that he will take some time this week to reflect on his options in complete solitude before deciding what is best for him, per USA Today.

The seclusion retreat, which Rodgers said he would be thinking about for years, would involve "four nights of complete darkness," he said.

The retreat would happen "later this week," according to Rodgers' statement on Tuesday.

Tom Brady Says He Watches 'A Lot of Bad Football'

Brady repeatedly emphasized his desire for the "good players" to stay on the field after announcing last week that he would postpone his broadcasting career for a year before entering FOX Sports.

The comments he made about the league's overall level of play surprised some people at the start of the previous season.

"I think there's a lot of bad football from what I watch. Poor quality of football. That's what I see," he said.

He had a change of heart by Super Bowl 57, though. Brady "saw a lot of great quarterbacking" from Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts in the classic between the Chiefs and Eagles.

Meanwhile, it is amusing to imagine Tom Brady enduring four days in a dark cabin with only two food slots, according to NFL.

He did not have a lot of insight into the idea, but he did agree with Aaron Rodgers that disconnecting from the online world to gain perspective is a good plan.

"Everyone has their different processes they go through," Brady said. "And you know what, I think we all need to get off our phone a little bit more. I think we all need to get away from the TV a little bit more. I think we all need a little more nature and a little more silence, and a little more peace.
