A Texas mom was detained Friday after she was accused of fatally stabbing three of her kids and injuring two more.

The suspect was identified as Shamaiya Hall, 25, from Italy.

A 6-year-old and two 5-year-olds were reportedly found dead inside a residence near Stafford Elementary School in the small Ellis County town Friday afternoon.

Two more children, aged four and one, were also stabbed and flown to a nearby hospital by helicopter, but there is no information about their health status.

The five kids are all siblings, according to Child Protective Services, who confirmed this to WFAA.

Hall reportedly stabbed her children when a CPS worker unexpectedly showed up at the house on suspicion that Hall was engaging in unsupervised visitations with her kids, according to sources.

The CPS had put the children in the care of another relative in the past,

The Ellis County sheriff's deputies were dispatched after they verified that child protective services workers had visited a residence on the block where the crime had occurred.

Meanwhile, officials have stated that there is no new danger to the public.

"We are shocked by this incomprehensible tragedy and already working with law enforcement to investigate how this happened and why," said CPS.

Meanwhile, around 50 individuals assembled in a circle near Stafford Elementary School Friday night, which is attended by many neighborhood residents who lived close to the school and had either participated in the institution themselves or had children who did.

They gathered over candlelight, singing "Amazing Grace." All of them prayed for the sake of the household and its children and one another, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Tye Thomas, who has lived in the city for 12 years, claims four kids went to Stafford Elementary.

Thomas, a student at Navarro College, claimed he had already met the Texas mom's children on Friday since he fills in as a substitute teacher at the primary school.
