Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar and the Tattoos That Stole the Show at the Latin Grammys

Among the most anticipated guests on the Latin Grammy red carpet were Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar , and not just to see how the romance of the most controversial couple in regional Mexican music was progressing. The artists are also known for their outfits, and this year's ceremony did not disappoint. And not just because of what they wore!

Before winning the Latin Grammy for Best Mariachi Album, El Forajido and his wife easily made the list of best-dressed. Ángela looked stunning in a marigold-colored halter dress, while Nodal wore a brownish-gray suit over a black shirt.

However, it wasn't just her outfits that generated buzz. Her tattoos stole the show, some because they weren't there before, others because they looked recent.

The cut of Angela's dress revealed a tattoo she hadn't shown before. It was a small, glowing heart, tattooed on her side. From the handwritten text, only what appeared to be a "J" could be discerned. Delicate, special, and beautifully done.

In contrast, Nodal appears to have continued with the treatment to remove the ink he had applied to his face after the complicated end of his romance with Belinda in February 2022. The King of Mariacheño sported an increasingly clear face. He wore sunglasses on the red carpet, but even so, fewer tattoos were noticeable.

However, it was during his performance at the opening of the Latin Grammy Awards that Nodal's face was seen without so many tattoos. The artist joined a musical number headlined by the great Mexican guitarist Carlos Santana, which also featured Édgar Barrera, Maluma, and Grupo Frontera.

As you can see, he only has a small piece of ribbon with little flags left on the right side of his face, under his eye.

Nodal began removing his tattoos "so my little girl can see my face," he explained after the birth of his daughter Inti two years ago. The process is long and painful, as the ink is removed with a laser that burns the upper layers of the skin.
