July 22 marks Prince George's 1st Birthday!

In honor of the royal baby, his parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, released a series of photos of Prince George gazing up at the butterflies during the family's visit to London's Sensational Butterflies Exhibit on July 2.

Prince George was decked out in a navy blue polo t-shirt with blue striped overalls for his visit to see the butterflies.

Now that his actual birthday has arrived, the royal family will be throwing a birthday celebration fit for a prince.

Kate's parents and two siblings will be attending Prince George's birthday bash along with Prince Harry, Prince George's uncle, the Queen's granddaughter and one of Prince George's godparents, and her husband and rugby star Mike Tindall, reports ABC News.

And of course, Queen Elizabeth II will also be coming to celebrate the birthday of Prince George. Earlier today, ABC News spotted the Queen arriving at Kensington Palace where the birthday celebration is taking place.

Prince George's birthday was also celebrated earlier at Buckingham Palace, where a rendition of "Happy Birthday" was played outside of the palace's gates, according to ABC News.

The Royal family isn't the only one celebrating the first year of Prince George's life.

USA Today reports, American retailers using Prince George's name as a marketing strategy to sell their goods.

Tetley Tea is among those retailers offering to give away a box of British tea to any American named George who posts his or her baby picture on the company's Facebook wall by midnight on Tuesday.

George's fashion sense is also something that retailers are profiting from.

O'Brien and Laure Greene, along with their business partner Christine Lairson started a highly successful blog named PriceGeorgePieces.com, that is dedicated to highlighting and selling replicas of Prince George's clothing to fans in the U.S.

"Americans are looking for a classy look so opposite of what they see today," said Greene to USA Today. "They think, 'if I dress my baby like this, hopefully I can reach the classy level that Kate has.'"
