Madonna's latest song "Two Steps Behind Me" includes defamatory lyrics seemingly aimed at Lady Gaga, The Daily Mail reports.

In the song, Madonna allegedly calls Gaga a "copy cat" who will never amount to Madonna's fame and status.

"You're a copycat, Where is my royalty? You're a pretty girl, I'll give you that. But stealing my recipe, it's an ugly look," she sings.

Madonna the continues, "Did you study me hard enough? You're never gonna be, you're just a wannabe me. Like a sister all messed-up, who's gonna help you out? In your fantasy, you can try it all. But you can't be me. You can walk the walk, even talk the talk. But you'll always be two steps behind me."

"Two Steps Behind Me" has not yet been released nor is it confirmed to be included on Madonna's upcoming album. However, if the controversial song does make the cut, a Daily Mail source claims that Gaga may be "mortified."

In addition to Lady Gaga, Madonna also takes a jab at her ex-husband Guy Ritchie in another song called "Heartbreak City," where Madonna recalls her tumultuous relationship with her former husband.

She sings, "'Cut me down the middle, f***ed me up a little. You said I was your queen. I tried to give you everything. And now you want your freedom."

She continues, "You got just what you came for, a bit of fame and fortune, and I'm no longer needed. You tore me into pieces, you didn't have no damn reason. I let you in my kingdom, you helped yourself with everything. Curse the day we met. This memory is haunting me. I wish I could forget."

Although Madonna's lyrics are full of harsh words about her competitors and former flames, it is unlikely that Lady Gaga will respond to Madonna's latest diss record.

Last year during an interview with MTV, Lady Gaga revealed she doesn't care if Madonna doesn't like her.

"To me honestly I think she's more aggravated that I'm not upset that she doesn't like me. Because I don't care that she doesn't like me, No, I don't care."

She continued, "The whole thing is really rooted in Madonna, that's the sort of center of it and nobody's really said that or admitted to it. It's silly. There's always this pissing match, 'Did she take her torch?' [and] 'Is she the new her?' 'Is she going to outlast her?' ... There's this thing with some people that I'm a threat to the throne."
