On Tuesday, Donnie Wahlberg tweeted a photo of himself and Jenny McCarthy just two days following the couple's wedding in St. Charles, Illinois, People reports.

"Mr & Mrs Wahlberg, checking in from heaven. Thank you for all of your well wishes. ‪#happy," Wahlberg captioned the Twitter photo of himself kissing McCarthy's hand.

McCarthy also shared her newlywed bliss on Twitter by changing her Twitter bio that now reads, "Officially Mrs Wahlberg, proud mama, loyal BH sister & author of my 10th book 'stirring the pot.'"

The Daily Mail reports that the now newlywed couple tied the knot at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois. The couple's closest family members and friends were in attendance at the intimate nuptial affair that lasted approximately 20 minutes.

The wedding may have been small, but The Daily Mail reports that McCarthy wedding dress was an extravagant piece that the blonde haired beauty purchased at Bergdorf Goodman's bridal shop in July.

Prior to her wedding, McCarthy gushed over her romance with Wahlberg to People Magazine.

"He's the most amazing man, and we have become a great team," McCarthy told People. "Although I haven't told my dad yet, my son, Evan, will walk me down the aisle before he goes back to school in the fall."

McCarthy first announced her engagement back in June on "The View."

"This weekend I was sitting with Donnie ... and he went into the other room and out came Evan with a card that said 'Will' and he handed it to me," McCarthy explained on the daytime show.

"Then Evan ran away and Evan came in with a card that said 'You.' ... I just started crying and then Evan came back into the room with the word 'Marry' but spelled wrong."

"The last time, Donnie came out with Evan and Donnie's shirt said 'Me' with a question mark ... and he got down on his knee," she gushed.

"Of course, I said 'Yes,'" she said. "In that moment Evan yelled, 'I have another dad!' and it made all of us cry."
