Cristiano Ronaldo had another spectacular performance for Real Madrid as he netted four goals to lead his team to an impressive 5-1 win against Elche on Tuesday at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid trailed early in the match after conceding a penalty in the 15th minute, but Gareth Bale netted an equalizer off a cross from James Rodriguez.

Ronaldo then scored off a penalty in the 28th minute before giving Real Madrid a 3-1 lead with a header off a cross from Marcelo in the 32nd minute. The superstar forward scored two more goals -- one in the 80th minute from the spot and another one in extra time.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti hailed Ronaldo for his impressive game, which came just three days after netting his 24th hat trick for Los Blancos during their 8-2 victory over Deportivo La Coruna. Ancelotti said that the superstar clearly benefited from his training camp as he is not showing any signs of slowing down after recovering from a knee injury.

"The rest he had worked well for him, he needed to do some specific work," Ancelotti said via ESPN FC. "At this moment he is physically very good, and very motivated, and scoring a lot of goals."

Ronaldo refused to take all the praises, saying that he will not score four goals if not for his teammates.

"To score four goals is very difficult," Ronaldo said. "I thank my teammates for passing me the ball so I am able to score. I have done it two or three other times. It is about the team. Things are coming off for me at the moment, thanks to my teammates for helping me so much."

Ronaldo, who had 31 league goals last season, has already scored nine goals in just four La Liga games this season. Ronaldo and Real Madrid will look to make it three in a row when they take on Villarreal on Saturday.
