For those who have tuned into the groundbreaking FX original series "Sons of Anarchy" for years, get your napkins ready: One month from now, the tragic crime drama following a tight-knit outlaw motorcycle coterie of bikers in Charming, California, airs its final episode.

On Thursday, Oct. 30, "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter announced that the hit series had officially wrapped at 11:17 p.m. over his Twitter.

"That's a wrap. Thank you," he wrote, adding a sequence of hashtags.

According to MTV.com, Sutter returned to the "Sons of Anarchy" set Wednesday, Oct. 28 after having his appendix removed earlier that week, and production continued. The following day, he posted a dark and grainy "final shot" from the set.

Kim Coates, who portrays Alex "Tig" Trager on the show, shot his last scene a day prior and posted a congratulatory "shirtless selfie" from his final day on the "Sons of Anarchy" set on Twitter.

"No clothes no tears no cryin no fears.. Final selfie final day final ride come what may.. Bye kids bye TIG.. For Ever," Coates wrote.

Simultaneously, Tommy Flanagan who plays Filip 'Chibs' Telford spent the last week of production tantalizing fans, whetting their appetites with the ultimate question: Would his character live to see another day after the last credits roll>

On Oct. 27, Flanagan wrote, "Thinking about my lines this afternoon...or was that last week?"

The following day, he added: "Playing around on set today.. Or am I?...Tune in tonight to find out!"

Real life Hells Angel member David Labrava, who portrays the tough as nails Serjeant-at-Arms Happy Lowman, got nostalgic and misty-eyed when he posted to Twitter on Oct. 29:

"Last day on the set. My heart is filled with happiness to have taken this ride. And it is breaking as it ends. Thank you all. Love you All," he wrote.

Just four days earlier on Oct. 25, Labrava noted that we probably won't be seeing the last of him.

"One door closes and another door opens. Scouting for my first film. Gotta see your future and be your future," Labrava tweeted.

Theo Rossi, who rose to prominence as Juan Carlos "Juice" Ortiz on the show, was happy-go-lucky as usual. In a stunning picture alongside actress and co-star Drea de Matteo, the two held a sign that express all the joy fans are certain to feel once the last episode airs on Dec. 9.

"Today is going to be the best day over," it reads.
