On Wednesday, "High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale stepped out to support the ShoeDazzle Cares event for St. Jude's Hospital and spoke with E! News about her life as a newlywed and her thoughts on becoming a mother one day.

Tisdale, who tied the knot with her hubby Christopher French on Sept. 8, revealed married life "doesn't feel any different" in comparison to dating.

"It's great, it doesn't feel any different but it is," Tisdale revealed. "We wake up every morning and I'm like, 'Hi, husband' just to able to feel somewhat different because I married my best friend and it's been so amazing."

Tisdale also added that she and French are "very natural with each other" which has helped to make the transition to married life "great."

"You're not used to it," she continued. "But it's also so exciting ... I have a husband, that's awesome."

When asked about whether fans can expect to see little Tisdales in the near future, the 29-year-old starlet responded, "Not for a while."

Tisdale explained that due to her and French's busy schedules, having children is not something that they are focused on right now.

"I have a series coming out in June for TBS called Buzzy's and I'm really focused on doing stuff in fashion too, so I have a lot of stuff in development there, so kids are not gonna come for a while," Tisdale explained.

In addition to talking about kids and marriage, Tisdale also spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her reason for supporting the ShoeDazzle Cares charity event benefiting St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Tisdale named her late grandmother's battle with cancer as the reason for her continuous support to the charity event.

"It's a tribute to my grandmother's passing," she revealed. "And when I chose the charity, they said they would love for me to actually spend some time at the charity before I give them any money, which I thought was really admirable."
