There are still no clear signs as to when we will see an iOS 7 jailbreak from the Evad3rs.

The group recently embarked on a trip abroad to attend an iPhone hacking event but was scheduled to return by last week. They said that they have been working hard towards the jailbreak but wouldn't say much in order to prevent any sudden speculation.

"(For a while), people assumed there was never going to be a jailbreak and all the hackers were lying in a pile defeated somewhere," @planetbeing said. "Now I've said something positive, and people are assuming it'll be out in a few days."

The task of jailbreaking the iPhones has become increasingly difficult in recent years; Apple has continued to redevelop the security features in order to prevent hacking. However, the Evad3rs are still saying that they are close to a jailbreak and some people have been predicting that we will see an iOS 7 jailbreak by the time Apple rolls out the new iPads at their event this week.

Pod2g, a hacker who works with Evad3rs, provided an update on Twitter last week. "Again, and like usual, we can't give a release date for the iOS 7 jailbreak. We can run into different troubles... No idea."

The iOS 7 operating system was released in September - the same month as the new iPhone 5s and 5c release -- and most iOS users have already hopped on board. It was reported last week that least 71 percent of iOS users made the update to iOS 7.
